The 7 Layer marketing and retail development teams have recently been providing a lot of hands on support to a relatively new strategic partner, Gunnebo UK. Gunnebo is a global leader in providing security equipment and systems with an integrated approach covering design, manufacture and installation combining a customised maintenance and service package.

Gunnebo Cash Management made a debut appearance at The Forecourt Show, Wakefield, 19th November 2015 and requested support to demonstrate their retail back office software offering.

Established for over 20 years, The Forecourt Roadshows are a series of 5 one-day regional exhibitions, designed and specified for everybody involved in petrol retailing in the UK, bringing together key forecourt industry suppliers and showcasing the latest equipment.

It is aimed at local forecourt & convenience owners, a mixture of single & multi-site vendors. Attendees included independent dealers, group operators, oil companies, supermarkets, contractors, consultants and Petroleum Officers. These local forums are far more conducive to personal contact with buyers than larger less ‘intimate’ venues. Exhibitors actually get time to talk to customers and demonstrate products. Andrew Willdig, Director, Cash Management, engaged the attendees with an eye opening view of the true “Cost of Cash” & 7 Layer helped demonstrate to potential clients on the stand.Tellermate

The exhibition stand featured our Hestia software together with the Gunnebo Counter Deposit Light (CDL) remote cash capture device and the Tellermate count by weight cash scales. The roadshow is of a size that allowed Gunnebo to gauge response and then define a marketing campaign in 2016.
